When Good Ads Go Bad
Liana was happy with the $23 Cost Per Acquisition (CPA) for the last 14 days.
The CPA increased to $95 today, and there were no sales.
Liana considers this a sudden change or “anomaly” because there were sales in the previous days.
When an anomaly occurs, Liana first checks the technology to ensure everything is working properly.
Liana checks the pixel to make sure it’s firing correctly using the Facebook Chrome Pixel Helper and the Events Manager.
Liana visits metastatus.com to check if there are any issues with Meta.
Liana also checks the Ads Manager’s view history to see if there were any recent issues that could be affecting things.
Liana believes that disruptions can cause performance to be a bit rocky for the next 24 to 48 hours.
Liana decides to wait and see if performance improves the next day before making any changes.
